Yamada Taro (Ninomiya Kazunari), a freshman scholarship student at Ichinomiya Private High School, is known for being perfect: handsome, intelligent, and athletic. But what many people don’t know is that he’s dirt poor and has to take care of six siblings and his useless parents.

Troublemaker Natsumi (Takeuchi Yuko) becomes kindhearted whenever she eats some of the delicious omurice made by the "Kitchen Macaroni" family (Eguchi Yosuke, Tsumabuki Satoshi, Yamashita Tomohisa, Yamada Takayuki, & Ito Misaki).

Shiomi Eiji (Katori Shingo), a single father, has no time for anything else, except run a flower shop with his daughter Shizuku. Remarrying is the last thing on his mind, not until a blind woman (Takeuchi Yuko) visits his shop.
