In a world of alchemy, the Elric brothers only have one goal, that is to revive their dead mother. This is possible with alchemy, but doing so comes with a gigantic sacrifice. The older brother, Edward, loses one of his legs while the younger brother loses his entire body and his soul gets stuck on a humongous piece of Armor.
