A story about star crossed lovers, Seungyoo (Park Shi Hoo), Kim Seongjoo's son and Seryung (Moon Chae Won), daughter of Prince Suyang. Prince Suyang wants to ascend the throne at all cost, but his rival Kim Seongjoo is always preventing him to do so.

Kim Tak Gu (Yoon Shi Yoon), the illegitimate eldest son of Goo In Jong, the president of Samhwa Enterprise, is talented in baking and was supposed to be heir. But because In Jong's family won't have it, they plotted to kill him and his mother. To escape from danger, Tak Gu left the household. He then grew up on the streets with only one goal in mind, to find his long lost mother.

Bong Woo Ri (Hwang Jung Eum) was raised by her deaf mother who got married to Bong Young Kyu (Jung Bo Suk), a mentally disabled but innocent man. With this, Bong Woo Ri gains a step-brother, Bong Ma Roo (Nam Goong Min). At the same time, Bong Woo Ri meets Cha Dong Joo (Kim Jae Won) who is supposed to be an heir to a rich company.

Toma Saya (Erika Toda), a detective with an IQ of 201 and have a "don't care" personality, gets a new partner after a mysterious incident, which put her left arm in a sling. The new partner she gets is Sebumi Takeru (Kase Ryo) who got transferred from the top Metropolitan Police to her department that specializes in solving crimes with special abilities called SPECS.

Shin Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) never would have thought that she would be in a coma before her wedding day. Because her death was untimely, the deathgod aka Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) gives her a chance to do her "unfinished business" with a condition: in order to be revived, she must get 3 "pure" tears from non-family members before 49 days are up.
